Paul Lutter, PA-C

Paul Lutter, PA-C, Ortho (CAQ)is from Lewisville, TX and spent 21 years in the United States Navy before returning to his home town. During his time in the service, he deployed multiple times around the world including to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Paul began his medical career serving as a Navy Hospital Corpsman from 1997-2006 prior to attending the Interservice Physician Assistant program (IPAP) where he graduated first in his class.

PA Lutter is fellowship trained in orthopedic surgery which is an achievement that only 4% of physician assistants currently practicing in orthopedics accomplish. He is also a nationally certified physician assistant through the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds an additional certification in orthopedic surgery through NCCPA’s Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) program.

He has extensive experience in acute sports injuries, non-operative fracture management, arthritis of all stages, and overuse injuries. In addition to that, he has spent the past 7 years involved in the pre, intra, and post-operative care of orthopedic surgical patients to include first-assisting in the operating room.

Mr. Lutter completed his Master of Physician Assistant Studies, and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine through the IPAP. He is currently completing his Doctor of Medical Science degree from the University of Lynchburg.

In his spare time, Mr. Lutter enjoys training and competing in Ironman triathlons, as well as spending time at home with his wife and daughter.
