Duane Allred, PA-C

Duane is originally from a small town in west Texas, but has lived in the North Texas area since 2004. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, then went on to pursue his Masters in Education from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, in 2006 while working as an graduate assistant athletic trainer with the football team. After graduating from TCU, Duane obtained a teaching and athletic training position with Lake Dallas Independent School District for two years. He then went to Argyle ISD where he was the Head Athletic Trainer and Science teacher for five years. After serving several years in education, Duane chose to pursue a different career and was accepted into the UT Southwestern Physician Assistant program.

Before joining DOC Duane worked in Orthopedic Trauma and Primary Urgent Care. He is Board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants [NCCPA]. Duane enjoys educating guests about their orthopedic condition and the PA profession.

Duane currently lives in north Fort Worth with his wife Tara and three children- Makson, Kaden and Lillian. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, Crossfit, woodworking and playing the occasional round of golf.
